Welcome to Champion!
Champion is an app that allows you to manage tournaments in iOS and Android. Invite your friends to your tournaments and let them track your results.
We use Google Firebase to store and manage your tournaments.
You can use Champion with an anonymous account or log in with Google, or Facebook.
The main use and basic features of Champion are free.
You have the possibility to subscribe to Champion in order to unlock more content and use all features without restrictions. You can choose between a monthly subscription, a 6-month subscription and a yearly subscription. The price of the subscriptions differs in some countries from the value. The purchase of such subscriptions is handled via the Google Play Store.
Champion also contains advertising that can be deactivated by paying a one-time fee, or by purchasing one of the previous mentioned subscriptions.
We do not sell to advertisers and we do not share information that directly identifies you (such as your name, email address or other contact information) with anyone without your express permission.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your personal information to provide you with all services.

2.2 Subject of data protection:
The subject of data protection is personal data. According to Art. 4 No. 1 DSGVO, this includes all information relating to an identified natural person, e.g. names or identification numbers.
3 What types of information do we collect?
To provide the app, we need to process information about you. We collect the content and other information you provide when you use our product, including, but not limited to, registering with an account (if any), creating or sharing content. This may include information about the content you have provided or that is contained in it (such as metadata), such as your profile picture, tournament information, or the date it was created. Our systems automatically process content you provide in order to analyze and process the context and details it contains. Your information can only be shared with third parties by you. The data is stored in a Firebase database, a service provided by Google LLC ("Google").
4. support requests:
When you contact our support, we collect and store the personal information you provide for the purpose of processing your request. You are not obliged to provide personal data when making your request and are welcome to contact us under a pseudonym.
We store your support requests in order to ensure that your request has been processed successfully and to be able to trace any difficulties that may have arisen in the past that may help to resolve your request.
When you email us a support request from our app, your email will contain some technical information about your device and your Champion app that will help us help you with technical issues. You can delete this information from your email if you do not want it to be sent to us. Please note that we may not be able to help you with technical problems.
We collect and process your data in order to be able to answer your support request and to guarantee error-free operation of our product. If you contact us regardless of a specific support request or a technical problem, we collect and process your personal data because of our legitimate interest in responding to e-mail inquiries and because your interests do not prevail.
5 Firebase Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC ("Google"). Firebase Analytics allows us to analyze how you use our app. To do this, Google collects information about your use of the app (including your IP address). This information is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the app, compiling reports on the app's content and providing other services relating to the use of the app and the internet. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties have given their consent.

The data stored at Firebase Analytics is stored for a period of 14 months. After this period, Firebase Analytics only stores aggregated statistics.
Firebase Analytics is used on the basis of our legitimate interest in a needs-based design, statistical evaluation and efficient advertising of our app and the fact that your legitimate interests do not predominate.
6. crashlytics
We use Firebase Crashlytics, a service of Google LLC. Crashlytics provides us with certain technical information about your device and app installation should your app crash. We use this information only to determine the reason for the crash and to troubleshoot any issues with our app. These data are usually not personal.
Crashlytics is used on the basis of our legitimate interest in detecting, investigating and correcting errors in our app and in order to be able to offer our app in accordance with the contract and the fact that your legitimate interests do not predominate.
7. deletion of your data
We will delete or anonymise your personal data as soon as it is no longer required for the purposes for which we have collected or used it in accordance with the above paragraphs. In particular, we delete your data in the following cases after the periods described below:
Statistical data at Firebase: 120 days.
Firebase Analytics: 14 months
After these periods have expired, the data will be deleted unless this data is required for legal retention periods, for criminal prosecution or to secure, assert or enforce legal claims. In this case they will be blocked. The data will then no longer be available for further use.
8. Automated individual case decisions or profiling measures
We do not use automated processing to make a decision, including profiling.
9. your rights as a data subject
right to information
You have the right to obtain from us at any time upon request information on the personal data processed by us concerning you in the scope of Art. 15 DSVGO. For this purpose, you can submit a request by post or e-mail to the above address.
Right to rectify inaccurate data
You have the right to ask us to correct your personal data immediately if it is incorrect. To do so, please contact us at the contact addresses given above.
Right to deletion
You have the right, under the conditions described in Art. 17 DSGVO, to request us to delete your personal data. In particular, these conditions provide for a right of deletion if the personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed, or in cases of unlawful processing, the existence of an objection or the existence of a deletion obligation under Union law or the law of the Member State to which we are subject. To exercise your above right, please contact us at the above contact addresses.
Right to limitation of processing
You have the right to demand that we restrict processing in accordance with Art. 18 DSGVO.
Rights as user:
According to the basic data protection regulation, you have the right to access, correct, transfer and delete your data. You also have the right to object to certain processing of your data or to restrict it. To do so, please contact us at the contact addresses given above.
